The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers 2021 Leadership Summit, a conference dedicated to economic and environmental issues facing the Great Lakes region, included a discussion of The Great Lakes Impact Investment Platform moderated by Michigan State Treasurer, Rachael Eubanks. The platform features C-PACE as a tool for impact investment.
C-PACE is an important component of economic development, resiliency climate planning for most cities, which is why CounterpointeSRE’s Michele Pitale M.D. was on hand to showcase a number of completed projects at the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers (GSGP) 2021 Leadership Summit. PACE is a feature of the Great Lakes Investment Platform, which was discussed in the panel presentation available below, but the summit also served to highlight a series of resolutions and ambitious actions sought by members.
GSGP initiatives addressed a five-year maritime action plan, invasive species, international trade and the Great Lakes Investment Platform itself.
The Great Lakes Investment Platform is designed to encourage environmentally sustainable economic growth in the Great Lakes States and Provinces. See the regional impact investment sheet here.
